Originally from Finland, Elin (she/her) is now based in the Netherlands studying design at the Design Academy Eindhoven. She holds diplomas in both fashion and industrial design before pursuing her bachelor's degree. Yet, with her continuous interest in photography, she finds herself drawn to using images as her primary medium in her design work, whether through graphic design or audio/visual production.
In her studies, she is developing a research-based practice with the help of Studio Technogeographies led by Martina Muzi, and currently with Studio Digital Native led by Ibiye Camp, Rhiarna Dhaliwal and Emmy Bacharach.
